Leadership

Ron has been pastor of Antioch East since February 2009. He has been in full time pastoral ministry since 1986, having ministered in Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana. Ron and his wife Christy were married June 20, 1998, and have two children – Adrian and Allison.  Bro. Owen is committed to expositional, verse by verse preaching of God’s Word, and loving the people God has entrusted to His charge.

Tim has been a member of Antioch East for some time. His heart for the Lord and the Great Commission has made him an ideal missions director. Tim travels with Evangelistic International Ministries across the globe to spread the gospel and serve the nations.

Jeff Morgan was nominated and began serving as the treasurer of Antioch East Baptist Church in 2018. He considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the church in this capacity.

Jeff began his life with Christ when he was saved and became a member of The United Methodist Church in Stephens, Arkansas. In 1978, he moved to the Calhoun Community. He became a member of Antioch East when he was baptized by Brother Jim Brown. He has enjoyed serving the church and the Calhoun community for all these years. Jeff retired from Albemarle after working there for 38 years. He served on the Calhoun Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years and as president of the Calhoun Community Center for 10 years.

Jeff also leads and serves his family. He has one son, Josh, who is married to Amanda, and they have a daughter, Myra. Jeff also has a daughter, Megan Kumpe, who has a son, Kade. He is married to his wife, Julie, and together they have a large bonus family that includes eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
